Mumbai's Priyasri Art Gallery's booth will display the recent work of Akbar Padamsee. Comprising 10 recent oils, 12 watercolours and 12 lithographs, this will also feature a work from his popular "Mirror Image" series. There will be celebrated works of contemporaries as well. Mumbai-based The Guild will present a solo of TV Santhosh and Chemould Prescott Road will bring to Delhi Hema Upadhyay's series Mute Migration that was part of the 'Chalo India' show at Mori Art Museum in Tokyo in 2008. In this, Upadhyay compares the cityscapes of Tokyo and Mumbai.

The encouraging response received last year has made Apparao Galleries exhibit a solo of architect Gautam Bhatia for the second consecutive year. "He always has something cerebral to say, so it makes sense to give adequate space to his work," says Sharon Apparao. She has a solo as well as a general booth at the fair. "It's best to have both - one to showcase multiple artists and another for going in-depth with a single artist," she notes.
