    The police, meanwhile, have been asked to be on alert. A source in the district police said there are apprehensions that a law and order situation may arise in the area. The officers, however, refused to comment on the issue.

    “We are keeping a close watch on the situation and are awaiting orders from the higher authorities,” said Kalyan Bandopadhayay, SDPO, Singur.

TO AVOID INCONVENIENCE TO ALL DO THIS ONLY AT THE PLATFORM WHERE DURGA AND OTHER IDOLS ARE PLACED BUT NOT IN THE PANDAL AS A WHOLE AND OUTSIDE .. WE CARE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND APOLOGIES FOR HER ACTIONS COULD BE THE THEME.. SHE IN FACT IS TRYING TO PUT OFF THE LIGHTS OF DEVELOPMENT FOR BENGAL FOR HER POLITICAL GAINS AND WE MUST REALIZE THAT AND EXPRESS CONCERNS WITHOUT WAITING FOR ANY MIRACLE TO HAPPEN..
