Skipper Reema leads the way for Delhi against Haryana

  • Chasing a target of 227 runs, Haryana were off to a disastrous start as they lost their opener Neeru off the very next ball of their innings. Sunil gill and Pooja Sharma were then associated in a 69-run stand for the second wicket before Sunil Gill departed after making 26 off 43 balls. Pooja Sharma and Pushpa then took the score to 114 before Reema Malhotra claimed the wicket of Pooja Sharma in the 30th over with the scorecard reading 114 for 3. Latika then picked up the wicket of Nirupama Tanwar in the 33rd over before Litika claimed her second wicket in the form of Lipsa Syal in the 35th over. Pushpa departed in the next over after contributing 40 runs before Haryana ended their innings at 164 for 9 in 50 overs. For Delhi, Shashi Malik and Lalita sharma claimed two wickets each while skipper Reema Malhotra, Shilpa Gupta and Shilpi Bhatnagar claimed one wicket each.
