Pratibha Dutta, widow of slain Trinamool leader Tapan Dutta, will meet West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee leaders tomorrow.
"I have appealed to all to give me justice and safety. Also, there is threat to my life. WBPCC president Pradip Bhattacharjee had asked me to come to his office," Pratibha said.
Tapan, who was also an environmentalist, was shot dead near his Bally residence in May last year for allegedly resisting some influential people who had tried to fill up a water body.
The case took a political turn after the CID inquiry into the murder revealed involvement of Trinamool cadres and a minister in the Mamata Banerjee cabinet. The name of the minister was, however, dropped from the supplementary chargesheet filed by the CID.
