Representatives of 25 civil society organisations held a meeting on Friday at the Hotel Aurora Towers on behalf of the Indian branch of The International Save the Children Alliance, specifically to take stock of the situation on child protection issues in Maharashtra. Speaking about it Bajirao Jadhav, Commissioner of Women and Child Development (WCD) says, “CSOs and government departments should jointly work to assess issues affecting children at the district level.
