The music scene in Pune is always happening and as if to further cement this perception, DJ Beat is in PUNE to perform on an evening, which will be characterised by a mix of music and dance amidst the romantic view of the setting sun on the banks of the meandering river. Idol talk
COLLEGIANS from different colleges across Pune, some of which include Fergusson College, Wadia College and Symbiosis, have something to look forward to next week, as the National Institute of Event Management (NIEM) will be playing host to its annual College Idol and Mr and Ms University competitions. These two spectacular mega competitions will be held on September 15 at the Nehru Memorial Hall, Camp. While College Idol focuses on the talents and personalities of contestants, Mr and Ms University is a pageant highlighting the natural good looks, poise and intelligence of the college youth. More than 500 contestants applied for the two contests and the event is a much-awaited one, both by the participants and the audience.
