The Gujarat High Court on Thursday allowed Rubabuddin Shaikh, brother of Sohrabuddin Shaikh and complainant in the encounter case, to oppose the bail plea of suspended IPS officer Abhay Chudasama. He had sought to be joined as party to the plea saying he was an affected party and Chudasama, being an influential officer, can influence witnesses in case enlarged on bail.
