Some flight timings to change owing to repair work of runway

Passengers who have booked their tickets in Jet Airways flight from Chandigarh to Jaipur which has a scheduled departure at 6.10 pm will be given an alternative option to get their bookings done in the Chandigarh-Delhi Jaipur connecting flight. The connecting flight has a scheduled departure of 8.10 am.

Timing of Jet Airways (India) and JetKonnect flights from Chandigarh to Delhi with scheduled departure at 5. 40 pm has been changed. The flights will take off at 12.10 am on first and third sunday of December.

GoAir flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai with a scheduled departure at 7:00 pm will be cancelled and passengers can avail tickets of the 11.15 am flight.

“We are providing alternative options to the passengers such as tickets for the next flight or a ticket in a connecting flight. Any difference in fare of the old ticket and the new one will be borne by the airline,” a GoAir official said.

SpiceJet flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai will take off at 12.45 pm instead of its scheduled departure at 4:15 pm.

Talking to the Newsline,HS Toor,Director of Chandigarh Airport said,“The Air Force authorities have informed all the airlines operators that the airport would remain closed on the first and third Sunday of every month after 1 pm due to maintenance and repair work of the runway. Hence,they have been suggested to revise the schedule of their flights.”
