Expressing concern over the large-scale instances of children here becoming deaf due to the noise created by powerlooms, the Congress leader asked the Chief Minister to find a solution to the problem.
"It is a matter of great sadness that children have to suffer. The Chief Minister should find a solution. If needed, the Central Government will extend help," she said.
The Centre has contributed over Rs 400 crore for the affordable housing scheme of the State Government, she said, adding that more help would be given.
