According to the Chief Minister, the government also decided to stop issuing permits for auto-rickshaws in Bangalore in the face of complaints of overcrowding. In the education sector, it has decided to provide counselling facilities for high school students. Other measures include providing training and coaching classes to increase the number of IIT entrants from Karnataka.
At the sessions, the police placed a proposal to make the department more people friendly by introducing a token system for filing complaints that will ensure that complaints are registered and acted upon.
After the meetings , the Chief Minister, who until a few days ago was facing dissidence from within, called his Cabinet a “happy family”.
