Who better to endorse wellness and health than the six-pack-flaunting John Abraham? The actor made a fleeting stopover at Gurgaon’s swank new Leela Kempinski for the Pevonia Asia Spa Awards,to walk the ramp for designers Hemant-Lecoanet’s show of organic cotton clothing. A smattering of Delhiites was present and Abraham,looking glamorously beat (he showed up around midnight),dealt with the questions thrown at him even at that late hour with remarkable patience. “Bispasha’s in Mumbai,” spoke Abraham,“And no,we’re not getting married.”

Bashful,or just plain evasive,Abraham adroitly dodged queries on the Dostana sequel and about opting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Chenab Gandhi. Malaika Arora Khan presented one award,dressed in a sparkling gold number,while writer Shobhaa De cheerfully walked down the ramp brandishing an award for being a spa diva.
