Randhawa tied 10th
Jyoti Randhawa rode on a bogey-free back-nine to card three-under 67 and rise to tied 10th after the third round of the UBS Hong Kong Open with an eight-under 202. Rahil Gangjee (68) rose to tied 33rd, SSP Chowrasia (73) slipped to tied 46th, while Shiv Kapur (72) and Jeev Milkha Singh (70) were tied 50th.
Bopanna-Qureshi in final
Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi reached the final of the ATP Challenger in Aachen, Germany after beating Lovro Zovko of Croatia and Yves Allegro of Switzerland 6-3 6-4. In Knoxville, Somdev Devvarman and Purav Raja and Harsh Mankad and Treat Conard Huey lost their respective semi-finals.
Salgaocar, JCT split points
Salgaocar and JCT split points after playing a dull goalless draw in the eighth round of the I-League at the Nehru Stadium in Margao. Salgaocar now have seven points from as many matches while JCT have taken their tally to 10 points from eight matches.
Indian athletes end third
