The sports department of the government of Maharashtra, the Mulshi district Panchayat and the Mulshi district Sports Coaches association will be organising a sports workshop on the 18th of December from noon till 3pm. The workshop will be organised at the Mulshi district Panchayat commission's Senapati Bapat hall. The workshop will have Sandip Balkawde, Gunwanti Jarande, Hanumant Kumbhar and sports writer Sanjay Dudhane mentoring the participants.
NMV School, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalay record wins
NMV High School scored an 86- run win over Araneshwar School in the Goel Ganga Trophy U-16 Inter School Cricket Tournament organised by Pune District Cricket Association (PDCA) and played at the BMCC College Ground here today. NMV High School secured their first win by scoring 157 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. In reply Araneshwar School could manage to score just 71 runs for loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. In the second match Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya triumphed over Abasaheb Atre School by 54 runs. Batting first Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya put up 123 runs for loss of 9 wickets while Abasaheb Atre School's run chase ceased at 69 runs in 17.1 overs. Mahesh Waghmode ripped through the Abasaheb Atre School batting line-up capturing four wickets for 17 runs, while Harshwardhan Gaikwad bagged 3 wickets for 9 runs
