Deepika Padukone is finally taking a breather from work. The pretty actress has been shooting non-stop for the past six months. She first finished shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se with Abhishek Bachchan in Goa and after that was busy with Pradeep Sarkar’s Lafangey Parindey. Deepika,who is paired with Neil Nitin Mukesh in this film,learnt roller-skating for her role. The actress was shooting for Danish Aslam’s Break Ke Baad in Mauritius recently with Imran Khan. During her stay at Mauritius,Deepika learnt scuba-diving. The actress now holds a certificate as a certified scuba diver. She also took a mini vacation from her hectic schedule when her parents joined her at Mauritius.

Ever since news about wife Maanyata being pregnant with twins is out,Sanjay Dutt is over the moon. As soon as the actor got the news,he went and purchased a pair of diamond earrings for Maanyata. Dutt’s next release will be Bunty Walia’s Lamhaa with Bipasha Basu and Kunal Kapoor. Dutt also joined hands with an NGO that works for children who have been rendered homeless and have been affected by terrorist activities. Dutt initiated the signature campaign and took a pledge to unite the nation,at India Gate in Delhi. The actor was there last week amidst media persons and millions of fans who thronged to catch a glimpse of him. Currently the actor is doing the rounds of radio stations to promote the film.

The very pretty Prachi Desai,best remembered for her debut film Rock On!!,is looking forward to her next release,Ekta Kapoor’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Prachi is paired opposite Emraan Hashmi in this period drama which is set in the ’70s. Prachi is also very excited about one of the looks she sports in the film. She is emulating Dimple Kapadia’s look from Bobby for a song. She had to wear the short skirt a la Bobby style and to prepare for the look,Milan Luthria,the director had given them a month’s time to work on their bodies. Currently she is doing the rounds of radio stations and theatres to promote their film. After Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai,Prachi will be next seen in Vikram Tuli’s Joker. She is paired with Rajeev Khandelwal in this film which is about the relationship between a father and his young son.
