Steel consumption to rise 6-8 pct in FY10

    Indian steel consumption is seen rising 6 to 8 per cent in 2009/10, the steel minister said on Wednesday.

    "I strongly believe that Indian steel consumption will continue to grow at a pace varying between 6 to 8 per cent during the current financial year," Virbhadra Singh said.
