Still no leads on Kapil Gupta abduction

Five days after Delta Electronics owner Kapil Gupta was kidnapped while he was driving home through the DND Expressway in his Mercedes car,the police are yet to identify the kidnappers.

Gupta returned home on Sunday after his wife allegedly left the police out of the loop and paid Rs 1 crore as ransom at a location near Meerut Bypass. Senior police officials said no concrete leads have emerged,and they are questioning Kapil Gupta to get more details.

The police are also probing whether this is the same gang that abducted Saurabh Jain,a chartered accountant from the same company,in February 2011. As much as Rs 30 lakh was paid as ransom,and no arrests were made.
