Strides Arcolab gets EU nod for oncology drug

Strides Arcolab said on Friday its fully owned unit Onco Therapies Ltd has received European Union approval for its oncology drug carboplatin.

Strides Arcolab said on Friday its fully owned unit Onco Therapies Ltd has received European Union approval for its oncology drug carboplatin.

The drug has annual sales of $138 million in Europe,it said in a statement.

Carboplatin is the first approved product from the 22 filings made by Onco Therapies,it said adding the product would be manufactured in Bangalore.
