  • Manoviraj Khosla is the man to turn to if you happen to be a nerd in desperate need of a makeover. He will rev your wardrobe up with those well-cut suits and super clingy shirts(never mind the beer belly), That we all know. That is an established truth. But how does he fare when he comes to dressing up the ladies? Errm, not so nicely we are afraid. At least what we sampled at the “design expose” at The Park last weekend proves as much. Boring cuts and unimaginative colour palette defined the women’s collection at the fashion show. The men, however, were nattily dressed as usual. Dressed in trademark Khosla equestrian pants and textured jackets, they were dressed to embrace the Kolkata party season. The powder blue and popsicle green ensembles may have looked a tad too summery for a winter collection, but does our weather really permit a proper winter wardrobe? The jacquard jackets were particularly eye-catching, the paisley motives on which lent a festive charm. A blue shaded one particularly stood out, teamed with an equestrian pants made for a perfect party wear. The jacket was shaded, which made it more interesting that the other ensembles in the ramp. Or maybe it’s the hunky Delhi model.
