Training and Placement Cell of Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT) has invited Max New York Life Insurance company to shortlist MBA students for Summer Placements as Summer Trainees. Students and MBA faculty members accorded warm welcome to the resourceperson, Vishal Sharma, Manager, Agency Recruitment of Max New York Life Insurance.

He enlightened the students about the current economic slowdown and career prospectus in the company. He delivered a brief presentation for the summer trainees explaining the job profile.

Giving the Summer Trainee’s project details, he said, “ The project would give experience to the students to work in one of the fastest growing sectors. The summer training project would give opportunity to the Summer Internees to earn while learning. There will be performance based stipend to the eligible students.” The Benefits, Rewards and Recognition to be awarded to the performing summer internees, were also explained. It was informed that there were numerous career opportunities in this field.

Vishal stated, “ Good Communication skills, Product Knowledge, Team player and Target oriented were some of the traits to be possessed by an ideal Summer Trainee.”]
