Obama Obama, tune kar diya duniya mein hungama, Obama Obama tune kar diya duniya mein hungama, ab to White House ke hakdar hain Obama, har tufan se ladne ko tayyar hain Obama…” This is how a group of young musicians from Suart is expressing its confidence in US President-elect Barack Obama.

Chirag Thakker, Jayesh Gandhi and Anita Sharma have come out with a music video of this song to mark the swearing-in of Obama as the 44th US President on Tuesday. The 5.44-minute long video has been uploaded on youytube.com.

All three musicians have been in the industry for quite some time now, and their latest song came after a hard work of three months. The song was written and composed at a small music studio owned by Chirag, who has sung the song along with Jayesh (music director) and Anita, who handled the production.

While the song is in Hindi, the video has English subtitle. The video was shot at different locations across the city, including the banks of Tapi, in the studio and at municipal gardens.

“We have dedicated this song to Obama and uploaded it on Youtube, so that the world could see our attempts to honour him. His down-to-earth personality, faith in Lord Ganesha and great respect for Mahatma Gandhi made us feel that he is very close to us,” said Chirag, adding that they have used names of Lord Ganesha and Gandhi in the song.

He added, “The interesting thing about this album is that if Obama watches it on Internet, he will be able to understand the song, as we have given English subtitles.”
