  • With the fall in temperature, dengue patients have once again started pouring into the city hospitals. Yesterday, a suspected dengue patient, Ashwini Kumar, a resident of Khanna, died at Apollo hospital. The patient was clinically treated on the lines of dengue fever, but his Elisa test had not come positive.

In CMCH, three new suspected patients have been admitted, out of which one is an employee of this hospital. Patients are also pouring in DMCH and other hospitals as well.

However the civil surgeon, Dr Maninderjit Singh said, “So far not more than 21 confirmed cases of dengue have been reported this season, while last year the number was much more and hence it is in a controlled state.”
