Suspend 3 BJP members,Cong MLA asks Gadkari

Congress MLA from Bholath Sukhpal Singh Khaira wrote an open letter to BJP national president Nitin Gadkari,saying the BJP was adopting double standards on corruption issues. He wrote that the Punjab unit of BJP was embroiled in a major corruption scandal. Chief Parliamentary Secretary Raj Khurana has already been arrested by the CBI for allegedly demanding a bribe to settle a land dispute while the names of two BJP ministers,Manoranjan Kalia and Swarna Ram,have also figured in the case. “Does the BJP have the moral courage to suspend these three ministers from the primary membership of the party for their involvement in corruption,as done by AICC president Sonia Gandhi in the Suresh Kalmadi case?” Khaira asked. He said the BJP must immediately sack all three BJP ministers and allow the CBI to fairly investigate the matter.
