Suzlon posts Rs 58.65 cr profit in Sept quarter

The company had a loss of Rs 368.81 cr in ame period a year ago,it said in a statement.

Wind turbine maker Suzlon reported a profit of Rs 58.65 crore for the three months to September.

The company had a loss of Rs 368.81 crore in the same period a year ago,it said in a statement.

In the latest quarter,Suzlon’s total income rose to Rs 5,130.90 crore,from Rs 3,819.32 crore in the year-ago period.

Suzlon’s Chief Financial Officer Robin Banerjee said the company has reported third consecutive profitable quarter.

“Our gross profit margins improved to approximately 35 per cent,despite a very competitive market environment,” he added.

Suzlon’s Founder,Chairman and Managing Director Tulsi Tanti said the company continues to see strong growth in India,Germany,France,the UK,Canada and the offshore segment.
