    Here’s how Bihar is coping with the situation:

    w Water level has reduced from 1.90 lakh cusecs to 1.25 lakh cusecs

    5 lakh people have been evacuated

    200 camps are operational

    1,300 boats have been deployed

    86 medical centres have been opened

    Petroleum Ministry will provide 10,000 kl of kerosene and LPG cylinders

    Three more helicopters were being deployed

    Centre has provided 14 satellite phones to establish contact with marooned areas
