Three people, including a child, were killed on Monday and at least 10 went missing when an Army boat rescuing flood victims capsized near Murliganj.

• 5 lakh people have been evacuated
• 200 camps are operational
• 1,300 boats have been deployed
• 86 medical centres have been opened
• Petroleum Ministry will provide 10,000 kl of kerosene and LPG cylinders
• Three more helicopters were being deployed
• Centre has provided 14 satellite phones to establish contact with marooned areas
• 5,767 tents have been dispatched and additional 1,922 tents are being organised
