  • Honourable members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence are having a tough time trying to cope with JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda. The reason: Every single verbal contribution made by him in the course of committee sittings last week was prefaced with either “During my regime...” or “When I was the prime minister...”. To make matters worse, Deve Gowda chose to contribute to the deliberations rather liberally.
