Taking dig at Anna Hazare,Cong says he’s scared

Those who have never been in political agitation naturally fear police sticks: Congress

A day after Anna Hazare announced his decision to approach the Supreme Court to seek protection for his indefinite fast from August 16,the Congress on Monday took a dig at him saying that those who have never been a part of political agitation naturally have the fear of police sticks.

Had he been part of political agitations,he would have overcome that fear, Congress spokesman Manish Tewari told reporters here. The party also sought explanation from him on Justice P B Sawants report which had made adverse observations about the functioning of the trust he was associated with.

People who hold the mirror of morality to the whole country and want to teach values to others, should also see their faces in the same mirror. Many people have asked what Hazare has to say on the remarks by Justice Sawant in his report against Hazare, said Tewari. When you raise the issue of morality, then it becomes your responsibility to answer if any commission of inquiry raises questions on your conduct.
