The best advice I got …
Over the past two years I have been involved with several activities starting from product development,user acquisition to sales and marketing. All this while,Mrigank,CEO,and mentor has emphasised on two things –
getting clarity on your objectives and being laser focused to get them. The idea always has been to be a jack of all trade and master of one
The defining moment
2 years back when we started Voicetap,we were able to generate traction and revenue to our conference call platform in the first few months which was very encouraging. This not only helped us raise funds but also build a rock star team. With a vision to build a world class product and a team fully capable of doing so – we started our journey. And with us winning the Red Herring Asia 100 award,our faith in the product and the business model only got stronger
What keeps me awake at night…
Being in a startup essentially means being challenged everyday. Every solution comes packaged along with another problem. Being at Voicetap is not a different experience. As a team and as individuals,all of us have challenges and problems to solve every other day – this is what keeps us awake
I thought I would give up …
As a startup,we have had our shares of ups and downs -be it with technology or business development. However,our faith in our vision and product has always been strong and we are confident of delivering a world class product
My word of advice for others
From my experiences at Voicetap,there are two key things that one should live by – staying focussed and getting your team DNA right. These are the lessons I learnt the hard way and in my opinion,for a focussed team that resonates – there is nothing that is not acheivable.
