From hosting shows in studios to hosting a show in the jungle how’s the experience been so far?
It’s so very different. Although I knew we were shooting in a forest, it was hard for me to understand the magnitude of the show. Now that I am here, it is just crazy. These are the most dense rainforests and there are all sorts of creepy reptiles, flies and animals moving around. It is a task to keep them at bay, while you continue with your work.
How were the first few days shooting for Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao?
On my first day of shoot, I was completely taken aback with the kind of weird things I saw. When I came back from my shoot in the evening, I even saw a giant reptile in my room. I was stunned. And what really makes me stand and applaud is the way the jungle has been remote controlled.
Because once these celebrities are dropped in the jungle, there is no point of contact for them. So everything has to be carefully planned.
If you were a participant, do you think you would have been able to survive the show?
I don’t know about that. But after all that I have seen here I think it is best for me to sit and observe the participants in action. The term ‘reality’ is abused these days, but with this show, one will actually know what reality shows are like.
