Tata BlueScope Building Solutions, a division of Tata BlueScope Steel has received the “Pre-Engineered building project of the year award” at the Essar Steel Infrastructure Excellence Awards.
The division won the award for successful implementation of the East West Gas Pipeline project of Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited (RGTIL). The challenging project involved design and erection of 122 BUTLER TM buildings that spanned across four states and was completed in a record time of approximately 280 days, stated a press release.
H G Chandrashekhar, vice president, Tata BlueScope Building Solutions, received the award from Rakesh Mehta, chief Secretary, NCR, Delhi and Prof K. T. Ravindran, Head - Urban Design, School of Planning AND Architecture, Delhi at the award function organised in Delhi.
The project involved supply of 16 types of Butler buildings spread across 32 location covering four states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat. The project starts from Krishna Godavari Basin of Andhra Pradesh and ends at Bharuch in Gujarat.
