Tata Motors hikes vehicle prices

Tata Motors on Saturday hiked the prices of some its passenger vehicles.

Tata Motors on Saturday hiked the prices of some its passenger vehicles and all of its commercial vehicles by a range of Rs 3,000-30,000 due to rising input costs with immediate effect.

While the company hiked the prices of passenger cars between Rs 3,000-15,000,for the commercial vehicles the hike ranges between Rs 1,500-30,000,the company said in a statement.

The flagship Indica and Indigo family would be dearer by a range of Rs 3,000-Rs 15,000 depending on the model. In utility vehicles,the price increase on Tata Sumo,Grande MK II,Safari and Xenon ranges between Rs 8,700-14,500.

While the commercial vehicle would cost Rs 1,500-30,000 more,it said.
