The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is telling the nation not only from the rooftops but also from every possible communication channel that its prime ministerial candidate L K Advani will prove most dependable as the future prime minister. But for this to happen, Advani has to have a dependable team of his backroom boys to nurture his constituency in Gandhinagar.

This "Team Advani" has been put in place and all his trusted lieutenants have come around to work in tandem to accomplish the mission. It is currently busy working out strategies and logistics for his campaign while keeping in mind his national level commitments in different States. It's no small job to balance the home turf without disturbing the national engagements.

The team of backroom boys is led, as always, by Parindu Bhagat, a long time associate of Advani in Gujarat - known better as Kakubhai. A loyal RSS worker, Kakubhai remains the pivot of the team this time also. He will look after the job cut out for him, which is, to take care of all the matters relating to compliance with poll code of conduct and has been made in-charge of overall supervision of election work.

Former AUDA chairman and sitting member of the Rajya Sabha Surendra Patel continues as the main strategist for Advani's public meetings, rallies, group meetings etc. He will take reports from all others on a day to day basis the progress of respective jobs given to the rest of the team.

The man in charge of all modern communication techniques Dr Shashirajan Yadav, the head of BJP IT Cell, has come a long way in his job, right from sending group SMS, short films, compact discs etc besides managing websites and blogs as well networking among internet communities that support Advani as future prime minister.
