Techie commits suicide in Pimpri

A 22-year-old engineer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Pimpri on Sunday evening.

A 22-year-old engineer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Pimpri on Sunday evening. Police said the reason behind the suicide was not clear till late on Monday.

Police have identified the deceased as Nitin Dnyandeo Sable of Madhuban Society in Pimpri. Police said Sable’s parents had gone to a nearby market while his sister had left the house a couple of hours ago.

The incident came to light when the parents came back home and Sable did not open the door.

He was taken to YCM hospital where he was declared brought dead. No suicide note was found in house. “We are yet to speak to the parents. The reason behind the suicide is not clear as of now. Sable worked as a software engineer in IT Park,” an officer said. Sub Inspector S V Rakh is investigating the case.

22-year-old ends life

In a separate incident,a 22-year-old unemployed youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree on a hill behind Fergusson College in the early hours of Monday. Police have identified the youth as Ganesh Shankar Jadhav,a resident of Pandavnagar.
