Techie found dead in Kasarwadi ,suicide suspected

A 28-year-old software professional,Vinesh Kumar Raman,was found dead on the railway tracks in Kasarwadi on Sunday.

A 28-year-old software professional,Vinesh Kumar Raman,was found dead on the railway tracks in Kasarwadi on Sunday. Police suspect that Raman committed suicide after learning that the girl he loved was getting married to another person.

According to the police,Raman,a resident of Masulkar Colony in Pimpri,was working with a private firm in Aundh. Primary investigations revealed that Vinesh was disturbed after he came to know around two months ago that the girl was getting married to another person. On Saturday evening,he went to Wadgaon Sheri on his bike to meet some friends. He had dinner and also consumed alcohol.

While returning,he stopped near a hotel in Kharalwadi,located close to the railway tracks. He then apparently took the extreme step,police said.

On Sunday morning,a passer-by saw the dead body and informed the police. Soon a police team including deputy commissioner (Zone III) Mahesh Patil rushed to the spot.

“Raman was working with the technical support staff of Convergys,” said Patil. No suicide note has been found and a case of accidental death was registered at Bhosari police station. The case was later transferred to the railway olice.
