Giving full vent to her anger a teenage girl bit off the tongue of a youth, who allegedly tried to rape her in Bhartana area of the district.
Kailash Bahelia (25) barged into house of the 17-year-old girl yesterday and tried to rape her in Furra Salempur village, police said.
In an apparent self-defence, the teenager cut off tongue of the youth with her teeth.
The youth has been arrested and was undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
