Teenager gangraped after being drugged at a party in Noida

Four of the accused — Himanshu Sharma,Rahul Arya,Saurabh and Sunil– have been arrested while a manhunt has been launched for their fifth accomplice Neeraj,a management student.

“Investigations revealed that the victim was known to accused. On Friday evening,the girl had gone with them for birthday celebration of one of the accused. There she was given a sedative laced drink,” said Anant Dev,Superintendent of Police.

“Thereafter,she was taken in car and gangraped by the five accused,” he said.

Earlier,the girl had claimed that she was dragged into the vehicle as she was waiting for her father at a bus stop last night and gangraped.

“Though initially there was suspicion that the accused had made her MMS and had threatened to post it on the net if she goes to police but this could not be verified. The accused were being questioned in detail,” said Dev.
