Tees with slogans are a rage here

While Anna Hazare and his team slammed the government for not being serious about fighting corruption, scores of supporters found their voice in the slogans they were wearing.

While Anna Hazare and his team slammed the government for not being serious about fighting corruption, scores of supporters found their voice in the slogans they were wearing.

“Where is my money,Mr Prime Minister?” read one of the most sought after slogans printed on T-shirts and caps. Manoj Kumar Jha,owner of Impulse Marketing,a promotional marketing firm involved in printing anti-corruption slogans on accessories, says he has been receiving approximately 100 orders per day for this particular slogan.

“The T-shirt demanding accountability about the tax-payer’s money is a rage,” says Jha. Other slogans much in demand are ‘I am Anna,My Lokpal Bill,I support Anna’s Lokpal’.

In April,Jha sat down with colleagues Pramod,Shailendra and Shashi to conceptualise slogans against corruption. “We do not sell T-shirts and caps with our conceptualised slogans for profit. We too want to contribute to Hazare’s movement. If I cannot become Anna,I can at least contribute to the cause,” says Jha.
