The CBI Special court on Friday recorded the statements of all the witnesses of the prosecution in the last case which is pending against the Haryana IAS officer, Sanjeev Kumar who was convicted by the Delhi CBI special court in the infamous text book scam.
The case has been listed for February 21 for the next hearing.
The last two witnesses, Jagdeesh, the accountant who had prepared the cheques for purchase of an LCD and a projector and Investigating Officer, Surinder Kumar's statements were recorded on Friday.
The former Haryana IAS officer, Sanjiv Kumar, and seven others alleged in the corruption case involving the printing of textbooks had earlier been acquitted on grounds of lack of evidence by a special CBI court. The accused, Kumar, had been discharged in six cases of the seven chargesheets filed against him.
