The Hills Grow DistantBy: Raj | 10-Jul-2009Reply | ForwardThe pakis can only live in myths. They do not have a history or identity.Islam as an identity was lost the day when bangladesh was created on the basis of language and culture.Considering the number of muslims who stayed on in India even after partition, Pakistan is an odd idea right from its birth. They even claim to have defeated the soviets! The fact is the soviets were defeated with afghans as cannon fodder, CIA ,Saudi funds and support. The pakis were just conduits and porters. .Pakis can only beg borrow and steal. Both money and credit.Deep down the pakis know it.India fights them, not as hindus, but as Indians, of all religions and hues. That is something they just cannot match. No war of pak has been fought by the pakis. All were fanciful ideas of a few generals and deluded minds. We must take ever opportunity, in a cool and calm manner, that any flight of fancy will be crushed as before. To put it crudely, their aukat must be rammed down their throats whenver possible.
Pakistani MindsetBy: Promod Kapoor | 10-Jul-2009Reply | ForwardThe Pakistani mindset was there to be gauged from the very start by the treatment meted out to East Pakistan. The Pakistani myth making would also have got a boost by India not decisevly fighting in 1947-48 for the territory it claimed and then again mishandling the war with China. If we are seen not to resolutely fight for what we claim is ours, the adversary will definitely have ideas. In their dislike for Indians (or should we say Hindus) the Pakistanis (or maybe Punjabi Muslims) identify themselves with Mughals and Afghans forgetting that for centuries the only indegenous ruler in those territories was Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Howsoever hard I think, I have never been able to think of a reason why the Pakistanis should hate the Hindus who were a minority in those regions. Maybe because they had the courage of conviction to stand up to the Muslim invaders and never converted to Islam.

Subramanyam has put forth a very cogent explanation in a precise manner explaining the origin and continuance of misconceptions in the pakistani political, military and intelligence establishments that have terrorised the world. Mr. Zardari has recently admitted that Pakistan created the jehadi form of terrorsits as a policy?
