DAV College helps bear infant's medical expenses
Chandigarh:Navsankalp, a charity association of DAV College, Sector 10 made another donation of Rs 50,000 to a four-month-old infant - Navjot Singh - suffering from Community Acquired Pneumonia. Singh is admitted at the PGIMER. The father was unable to bear the expenses of the treatment of his child. The cheque was presented to the father in the main auditorium, by the members of Navsankalp accompanied by Dr Anuradha Jattana of Child Pediatrician.
Mount Carmel holds exhibition
Chandigarh:In order to promote creativity, Mount Carmel School, Sector 47 on Saturday organised an arts and crafts exhibition. The best out of the waste made by the students of classes I to X of the school was displayed. Paintings of the students covered a wide range of topics, including nature, landscape, and flower composition. Other things at the exhibition consisted of mural art, paper weights, fridge magnets, artificial jewelery, wall hangings, shopping bags, decorative pots, fabric painting and others.
