Good Luck UnderGraduatesBy: Carol | 21-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Good luck to all students who are studying hard, honestly all the hard work will pay off. I sent my brother good luck online greetings cards throughout his exams, I was keen to show the amount of support he had behind him. Showing your support to friends and family like this is such a positive action and definitely helps.
C.E.T. for medical college entryBy: Kishore | 14-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward It is a very logical proposal and should be implemented. A standardized entrance test will, in turn. force schools to standardize their respective courses. As for economically backward students, all help should be given to prepare for such common test. Thanks to rapid and wide spread access to the electronic aids, students can be prepared on-line. Even the tests could be held on-line eleminating any possible malpractices. At the same time it is necessary to get rid of all sorts of 'reservations' based on cast etc. A multi pronged approach, is, therefore, needed. It is obvios that such a proposal will be opposed by politically powerful education barrons, and may, therefore, remain a distant dream
One test for MBBSBy: T V Krishnamurthy | 13-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward It is wellcome though 15 years late. With development of telecom we now need to have counselling in all statecapitals. This is possible with the current state of internet. Further counselling should be held simultaneously for state, central and private institutions so that there are less seats falling vacant after some counselling is completed(now in many states counselling is held after all India and so many all India merit seats are transferred to state) and so seats are available for college managements to sell.
Ex. Gen.Manager (QS)By: A.Rastogi | 12-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward Good idea. One entrance test meaning by syllabus for 10 2 in all school/college through out the country must be the same and examination for that should be conducted by one board. If yes, then teaching standard, school/college standard etc. required to be of same standard. Hence there shall be a standard like ISO 9000 for all these school/colleges and should be audited at a certain frequency ensuring that the standard of all schools/colleges are similar and competent.Wishing all the best for the idea.
common medical entranceBy: shurkumishra | 12-Jul-2009 Reply | Forward dear sir, this really a novel welcome idea but i doubt states will accept it as there are different syllabus and ununiform teaching standard. however, this could be possible if we think in positive and constructive way.the first step is to nationalise all the medical colleges as well the health service. the common medicl entrance should be conducted the way ias and ips examinations are conducted.a common syllabus shoud be announced and adopted by all the universities and school boards.if this is done not only the quality of medical education and health service will be improove but it will give a great boost to national integration.let us hope our politicians see sense with the proposal and implement with earnest sincerity.
