With the season taking a turn, Autumn-Winter collections have hit the stores. Here’s what to expect

The change of season is imminent. But with the change of weather come new trends, flavours, looks and more. In the ever altering fashion world, it’s now time to dress up appropriately for autumn and then winter. Bang on time is Esprit with a new collection that makes the most of the festive spirit. The ‘Esprit Casual’ range flaunts a Bohemian look that’s easy and breezy bringing with it contemporary gypsy style prints, paisley motifs, and silhouettes that are peasant-inspired. The colours are richer in tones of purple rain and blue moon against a backdrop of java and winter toffee. As far as the formal line-up goes, sink into the folds of billowing chiffon and silk which go pop with a generous helping of muted Ikat and floral prints. You can pair these with knits like Merino wool sweaters, capes, cable knits and shrugs that make layering for winter an indulgent affair. The Esprit Casual range for men presents a down-to-earth, contemporary look with utility pants in a splash of colours, Nebraska embroidery that turns up on badges, applique and even on the back of a shirt. The Layer-in sweaters come in toned-down candy-stripes for the perfect Sunday brunch look this winter.

Elsewhere, Wills Lifestyle is celebrating the new season by pairing up with the game of Polo and the high life associated with it. The Autumn-Winter collection for men is presented in luxurious fabrics and bright colours against a backdrop of this royal game. While the ‘Classic’ collection has been inspired by English legacy and reflects fine woven structures, there’s a lot of mix and match styling as well. The brand has also introduced the ‘Nanotex Neutraliser’ shirts for the first time. For the unaware, these shirts manage moisture and odour effectively, thus keeping one comfortable and fresh. Then there’s their ‘Luxuria’ range of shirts made from fine count European fabric. With full tape detailing, mock seam and shell buttons, it’s impressive.

    ... contd.
