There is scope in big banner movies for actors like me: Vindu

Vindu Dara,who shot to fame after 'Bigg Boss',feels even a small role in big movies brings in recognition.

Actor Vindu Dara Singh,who shot to fame after winning reality shot ‘Bigg Boss’,feels even a miniscule role,for an actor like him,in big banner movies brings in recognition.

“I feel in big banner movies that has big star cast,there is a scope for an actor like me. Even though the actors are in limelight,a small role also plays an essential part of the movie,” the 45-year-old actor said.

These roles bring in recognition and it is worth being part of these projects,he said.

Vindu was recently seen sharing screen in Sajid Khan’s ‘Housefull’ with Akshay Kumar,Deepika Padukone,Riteish Deshmukh,Lara Dutta and Arjun Rampal.

Earlier Vindu played Akshay Kumar’s sidekick in ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ whereas in ‘Housefull’ he played the role of a casino dealer.

Vindu,son of former wrestling champion and actor Dara Singh,got prominence after winning the third season of Bigg Boss and has been flooded with scripts but is making cautious move and opting for qualitative roles.

“Again I will be seen sharing screen with Akshay in Anees Bazmee’s. Then I have Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie with Salman Khan and a Punjabi movie directed by Guddu Dhanoa,’Lions of Punjab’,” he said.

Vindu feels even though TV has been lucky for him but he would not like to be part of daily soaps as they are too lengthy.

On television,Vindu has played the role of Lord Hanuman in the serial ‘Jai Shri Hanuman’ and also played negative roles in soaps like ‘Ssshhhh…Koi Hai’ and ‘Karma’.
