Pakistan is a nuclear power unlike Afghanistan or Iraq and the US would have to think 10 times before it begins unilateral action in North Waziristan,Pak army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani has told parliament,media reports said Wednesday. President Hamid Karzai has expressed frustration with Pakistans refusal to cooperate in tackling the terrorist Haqqani network that has repeatedly struck Afghanistan. They (the US) might do it (strike at militants) but they will have to think ten times because Pakistan is not Iraq or Afghanistan, the The Express Tribune quoted Kayani as having told parliaments defence committee at a briefing at general headquarters yesterday. Kayani reacted to a lawmakers question on whether the US might strike Pakistan,like it did in Cambodia and Laos before withdrawing from Vietnam.
