The Chandigarh Police, on Thursday, registered three cases on charges of defacement under Section 3 of West Bengal Property Defacement Act.
In the first case, one Deepak Sharma, resident of Sector 47-D was booked whose advertisement poster "Financial Solution" was pasted on a government electricity box in Sector 17.
In the second case, Rakesh Kumar — a resident of Sector 56, Chandigarh — whose advertisement poster "Tri City Balloon Decoration" was found pasted on a government electricity box, near parking lot in Sector 17, Chandigarh was also booked.
In the third case, an FIR has been registered against the owner of Law Academy in Sector 17 whose advertisement poster "study of LLB, LLM in Jaipur, Ghaziabad , Meerut " was pasted on an electricity box near Estate Office Building in Chandigarh .
No arrests have been made so far in the cases.
