Times Music recently launched mobile apps for the Ganeshotsav festival. The app is available for users of Apple,Blackberry and Android mobile devices and can be downloaded from the respective online app stores. These are currently available free to Android users and at a nominal charge to Apple and Blackberry users. The apps feature streaming of full-length devotional tracks,animations,wallpapers,ringtones etc.

Times Music has been leading a number of innovations in digital distribution of music and the motive behind launching the mobile apps was to make it simpler for customers to access their music. Being the leader in the Devotional music genre,Times Music simply converted some of their best-selling albums into simple mobile apps for major OS platforms. Times Music have in the past also launched a range of Wellness apps for mobile that cover Yoga,Diet and Nutrition and Physical Fitness and Krishna apps for the Janmashtami festival.

The Ganesha apps are just the start and the company aiming to get to a point where every Times Music release will be available as a mobile app.
