To check bribery Gurgaon notes measures

  • To check the growth of bribery cases the Harayan Vigilance Bureau, Gurgaon range, has asked all heads of government departments to designate departmental vigilance officers.

    Superintendent of Police, State Vigilance Bureau, Gurgaon range, Yogender Nehra issued the order.

    He also instructed the departments to display the names of these officers, along with their contact numbers, addresses and email ids at prominent places near the main entrance of the offices. In addition to this, the services provided by these officers to address the grievances of the public should also be written in brief on the board, Nehra ordered.

    Nehra added that grievances can also be addressed to the Director General of State Vigilance Bureau of Sector-6, Panchkula, (0172-2571980), Inspector General of Police, State Vigilance Bureau, Gurgaon, Manjeet Singh Ahlawat (0124-2321428 or 09999981852) and to the Superintendent of Police, State Vigilance Bureau, Gurgaon (0124-2223443-office, 0124-2334222-residence or 09999884494 -mobile).
