  • “If one has to live by the MNC culture, then there is really no time for leisure. All we can do is to sneak some moments to have fun in between working hours. So I bought Sony’s DVP-FX720 portable DVD player, to carry my movies with me and watch them whenever I get the time,” says city-based Abhishekh Bhatia, a senior programmer with Accenture, as he shows us his player which has a 7-inch TFT LCD. “Complete with USB Port for JPEG, audio CD and MP3 files and powerful embedded speakers, I can play anything on it, anywhere I want,” he says, adding that it has a five-hour battery life. The gadget, he says, accompanies him everywhere he goes. “It has remote and a car adapter. It comes in really handy when I travel, which is very often. I have watched about 36 movies in the last 30 days,” he smiles, as he reels out more vital stats — the player has a 16:9 widescreen and is a “stunning black beauty” at a mere 1.35 kg. A portable home theatre is next on his list.
