"Delhi was the first state to provide the data, which required the latitude and longitudes of all the polling stations. We were followed by Himachal Pradesh. All states need to do the exercise," Dev said.
The coordinates retrieved have been captured real-time, while the locations have been taken from Google maps.
During a recent door-to-door survey, nearly 14 lakh voter cards were cancelled for various reasons such as dead, shifted, duplicated or replicated voters.
The Delhi Election Commission has already issued show-cause notices in all such cases. Once the entire exercise is completed, the EC will undertake the exercise of rationalisation of polling booths if ordered by the ECI.

n A tab named "information linked to polling station map" has been provided on the left-side panel
