CII, Ludhiana core group, as a part of its initiative towards streamling traffic in Ludhiana city, organised two workshops on “Behaviour and stress management for traffic personnel of Ludhiana” on Monday.

Over 140 traffic police officials including SP, Traffic, Ludhiana, Rupinder Singh, DSPs, SHO and police personnel of all other ranks attended the two workshops. Senior faculty members from Indian Business School, Chandigarh, threw light on various techniques and ways that would enable the traffic personnel to effectively manage stress and anger while effectively discharging their duties.

Earlier, while formally inaugurating the workshop, SSP, Ludhiana, Dr Sukhchain Singh Gill highlighted the difficult conditions under which a normal police official discharged his duties and functioned.

While appreciating the efforts made by CII towards establishing cordial relationship between society in general and police personnel, Dr Gill stressed the fact that for a safe and secure social set-up, it is imperative for both the society and the police to have an atmosphere of trust among themselves and be sensitive towards each others needs.
