Trinamool feels it ‘fell short’

  • Trinamool Congress leaders feel that they could have easily emerged as the second largest party in Arunachal Pradesh had they not faced a fund crunch. A TMC leader was heard saying they would have won a couple of more seats had party chief Mamata Banerjee campaigned in the state. “But for Mamata to campaign we would have had to hire a chopper and it was not possible as we are a poor party,” the leader argued.
